Scribbled Arena Brings Doodling to a Theater of War on Kickstarter

Apar Games’ upcoming twin-stick shooter, Scribbled Arena, is currently raising funds on Kickstarter to accelerate its overall production. In this top-down title, players harness the power of assorted war vehicles and face opponents in doodle-art arenas.

The project features a variety of multiplayer game modes, including but not limited to deathmatch, capture the flag, domination, king of the hill, assassination, and bounty hunter. Players will be able to compete online as they blast each other to bits with diverse, customizable tanks. Multiplayer modes also include cross-platform support and the ability to contend with up to nine other players. Although the game focuses on multiplayer, single-player modes are available and offer a more arcade-oriented experience.

Scribbled Arena passed through the Steam Greenlight process in less than a week and is estimated to launch on Steam Early Access by March 2016. The title is currently on Kickstarter and has raised more than 20 percent of its $25,000 objective, with approximately two weeks remaining. Future stretch goals are currently unknown, but digital and physical copies of the game are projected for an initial release on PC.
