Eternity Port Announced – Expansion to Transcendence

Kronosaur Productions recently announced Eternity Port as an expansion to their 2D spaceship shooter and exploration game, Transcendence. The expansion will provide access to new parts of the galaxy, several ship types, new abilities, a new player class, and several new items with to-be-discovered effects within the game.

The new player class is a CDM mercenary, hired by the cybercitizens of Eternity Port. Granted an onboard AI, players gain abilities that affect both the physical and digital worlds. Players can choose to hack into enemy ships or simply blast them from existence as they combat against a digital hyperintelligence called Luminous that endangers human space.

Eternity Port will open up access to the Sol system, allowing players to visit the planets and asteroids of the Sol system, as well as a metropolis in the Centauri system, and a massive shipyard. Three new ships classes will be introduced: The UAS Hercules, a combat freighter; the Raijin-class, a dogfighter; and the Spartan, a multirole gunship. Finally, players will be able to experience new, original music by Michael Tangent, promising to expand on the Transcendence experience.

Eternity Port will be released on November 20th, 2014 as a $6 dollar download. To follow the expansion’s development progress, players can follow Kronosaur Productions on Twitter or Facebook.

Look forward to a future review for the game.
