Escape the Luxurious Horror of Skyhill

Money isn’t everything, but for Perry it meant that he was able to afford the penthouse suite of the Skyhill Hotel, where he waited out World War III and the following acts of bio-terrorism. Now, as the world he once knew is nothing more than rubble and mutants, he must descend down 100 floors of survival-roguelike action and escape the hotel that kept him alive thus far. This is Skyhill, now available on Steam, developed by Mandragora and published by Daedalic Entertainment.

Skyhill aims to create a claustrophobic setting that combines elements of RPG, point-and-click, and survival gameplay. Mutants await within each procedurally-generated floor of the hotel, and if their gruesome appearance doesn’t kill Perry, their claws probably will. The only way to survive is to fend off the creatures in turn-based combat long enough to gain experience, which can be used to unlock special abilities. Perry must also look for items hidden around the hotel that can be used to craft weapons.

Players will also have to keep an eye on Perry’s hunger, otherwise they’ll have beaten off the mutated creatures for no reason. Mandragora also believe that Skyhill is “highly replayable,” as it features multiple difficulty modes and various endings to experience.

Skyhill is available on Steam for PC and Mac, and for a price tag of $14.99 USD. However, there is a 10% discount for a very limited time. More information on this penthouse horror can be found on the game’s website, Facebook page or Twitter.
