Celebrate Friday the 13th with Dark Fear

Halloween may be over, but, with the arrival of Friday the 13th, horror is only just beginning. Arif Games is celebrating the occasion with the release of Dark Fear, a horror RPG. Players wake up in the game in total darkness with no knowledge of who they are, where they are, or why they are there. After discovering an old oil lamp, players must find their way out of the cabin and into the forest.

Don’t assume it’s going to be a leisurely walk through the trees and mountains, however. Players must upgrade their weapons and armor in order to go explore the creepy old house that lies ahead of them. Players can make allies and go hunting and fishing in the local village, but, in order to get to the truth, there must be bloodshed. Players must slay their foes and solve puzzles to get closer to solving the mystery.

With a cinematic soundtrack composed by film industry professionals to add to the eerie sensations, Dark Fear boasts a frightening game experience with an even more dark and twisted storyline. It is an adventure RPG with horror elements that may not be suitable for all players. The 2D graphic style harkens back to classic PC games from the 80s. The game was designed with tablets in mind, but it can also be played on a smartphone.

Dark Fear launches today, November 13, for both iOS and Android devices. In the future, Arif Games will be releasing the game on the Amazon App Store, as well. For more information about the game, check out the website or follow them on Twitter.
