The Indie Gala – Another PWYW Bundle Goes Live
I have said it before and I will say it again – another week, another bundle. Starting up this week is another pay-what-you-want indie game bundle called The Indie Gala. Despite looking, sounding and tasting very much like the Humble Bundles, Gala are offering some pretty good games at a price you set, so it’s worth a look at least.
As with the Humble Bundle, the money that you pay for the games can be split between the developers, charities Child’s Play and Save The Children, as well as a tip for the Gala organisers themselves.
“The games that are included in the bundle would cost around $75 if bought separately. But with our bundle, each customer can set his own price. And we are very proud of the lineup of creative indie games that we were able to assemble for our launch bundle,” says Riccardo Rosapepe, of IndieGala Srl, the organizer of the bundle. “And we are very happy that part of the proceeds from this bundle will go towards supporting the valuable work of Save The Children and Child’s Play.”
All of the games that are part of the bundle are redeemable on Steam only, so you will require a Steam account to play your games after purchase. By the looks of it, the only way to purchase the bundle is through PayPal so you will need a PayPal account as well. What games are on offer though? Take a look below:
– Zombie Shooter 2 is a unique blend of Action and RPG! Choose a character to the liking, get experience to develop skills, earn money and spend it at weapons, medications and useful devices. All of this will be used against thousands of zombies!
– inMomentum takes a brave approach to platform gaming! is all about creativity and freedom of movement! To succeed, players need to manage movement to progress through the games many levels, find secret items, and complete a variety of gameplay challenges!
– Hacker Evolution: Duality is the hacking simulation game! You have to hack into computers using various tools, from a basic firewall cracker, to sophisticated voice print authentication systems. Steal money to finance your objectives, buy hardware upgrades or bribe off other hackers that are present in the game!
– Saira teleported herself to Mars, but when she reached the planet all other humans in the galaxy had mysteriously disappeared. Now, how does something like that happen? Saira is a two dimensional puzzle platformer that will conquer your heart!
– Your Doodles Are Bugged! is a game with a unique art style and unique game play. In each level you play through a new doodle to rescue the bugs that have been hexed into it.
