Ben and Dan are back in this follow-up to Zombie Cow’s quite successful Ben There, Dan That. The story picks up right after the events of the original game. I won’t spoil the plot line, but let me just say that Ben and Dan must prevent the invention of the coat hanger. Enough said. This point and click game retains the unique feel of the original, though the graphics, music and sound effects are all better this time around. Great interaction between the characters and shameless self promotion make for a cheeky demo. Of course, it ended too soon, but if the rest of the game pans out in a similar fashion, I’ve got one word: Brilliant!

TGP is the 2nd Point and Click Adventure from Zombie-Cow Studios and continues the story of Dan and Ben’s time travelling hijinx. To borrow lingo from the game, the music and art style are ‘Brillo’. The messiness of the sketch art style does bother me a little in the cutscenes, but when the game is in motion, the quirky style and animations are quite enjoyable. The game’s real strength is its absurdist story and humor which actually makes reading the dialog enjoyable. The game mechanics won’t convert adventure game haters, but the humor/story may. A must try.
