Indie Royale Releases The Hammerhead Bundle
Indie Royale, an indie bundle series managed by digital distribution service Desura, released The Hammerhead Bundle yesterday afternoon. The bundle is a package of five indie games (with an unknown sixth game to be announced) for a minimum price hovering around five dollars. Over five thousand bundles were purchased on the first day of the sale.
The Hammerhead Bundle will continue for the next week, during which an unannounced 6th game will be included in the bundle. The current minimum price of the bundle as of this article is $5.80, which drops with every purchase over $10. An album by chiptune artist My OK BBS is included with every purchase over $8. All of the games (except Forge) can be downloaded directly, but most of them can also be redeemed on Steam or Desura. Two games included (Richard & Alice and Gas Guzzlers: Combat Carnage) have pages on Steam Greenlight and are open for voting. All games are completely DRM-free besides Forge, which requires installation through Steam.

It’s best to buy a bundle as soon as you can, as the price tends to increase as more people pay the minimum price. UPDATE: On June 4th, four more games were added to the bundle. The games are:

Oil Rush comes with a bonus map pack, and all games come with Steam codes. Included with the extra games is soundtracks for all of them, and a bonus EP from Proteus.
