‘GUNS And ROBOTS’ Tease Three More Weapons Before December Launch
Masthead Studios the team behind the upcoming GUNS And ROBOTS earlier this week unveiled the next array of awesome new killing implements. With an ever growing arsenal of weapons to maim your opponents with what is not to love about this upcoming online shooter.
GUNS And ROBOTS is a free to play online shooter, however it’s not your run of the mill shooter. In GUNS And ROBOTS the idea lies heavily on customization of your autonomous killing machines. With over 150 parts you can customize to your heart’s content and then compete for supremacy in the area, it’s a perfect combination.
With the ability to combine countless combinations together you really can tailor the carnage to your level, and create something rather unique. The idea does remind me a lot of Robot Wars, expect this time it’s online and you get to go around making all your robot dreams come true.
The game design looks fantastic but really any game that allows you to create a sociopathic Wall-E is A-OK in my book – he was a little bit too menacing for my liking really. Or maybe the next Johnny five, really the possibilities are endless.
Already with an arsenal that would put Rambo’s to shame, Masthead Studios keep upping their game by adding extra awesome weapons. This past week has seen three new additions, which are quite possibly the best weapons introduced so far.
- Raygun – A medium-ranged energy weapon that doesn’t require any ammo, however this is balanced with a high energy consumption. Every shooting game should have a raygun, allowing you to melt your opponents into just a stain on the floor. It’s always a great feeling
- Machine Gun – A staple in any shooter, it contains a high ammo count and is of course a rapid fire weapon. Expect to create Swiss Cheese out of all who oppose you in the area with this shooter archetype.
- Railgun – A high-powered, electromagnetic rifle with the ability to penetrate walls. No amounts of cover will save them now as you mow down the cowards that try to flee.
Masthead Studios really continual development on GUNS And ROBOTS is great and its making for a very interesting launch. With so much variety and customization already in the game expect to soak up many hours tinkering in your workshop, and this is before you even make it out to the battle.
