Gamescom 2019: The Polish Pavilion Will Feature an Impressive Lineup of New Titles
Gamescom 2019 is just three short weeks away. That means developers and publishers all over the world are currently gearing up for next month’s big event. This year will be a big one for the Polish gaming industry. The country is currently preparing to showcase dozens of new upcoming titles developed by local companies. All these titles will be present at the Polish Pavilion, a 320 m² exhibition area dedicated to games from Poland. A total of 34 companies will be represented at the Polish Pavilion, including a few names that you may recognize.
One of the biggest studios featured at Gamescom 2019 will be The Farm 51. These are the developers behind getting Even and World War 3. The company is showcasing a brand new project this year known as Chernobylite. The upcoming survival horror game sends players to a twisted version of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Chernobylite draws inspiration from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and features the most faithful recreation of The Zone to date.
Another company you may be familiar with is 11 Bit Studios. These are the folks behind highly acclaimed titles such as Frostpunk, This War of Mine, and Moonlighter. The company is currently working on a new project called Children of Morta. This upcoming game is a very stylized story-driven RPG centered around a family of legendary heroes.
Also at the Polish Pavilion, Donkey Crew will showcase brand new gameplay footage of Last Oasis. The game was first announced earlier this year and sparked a lot of interest thanks to its unique setting. Last Oasis is an MMO where players must band together in order to survive the game's inhospitable world. The main selling point here is the Walkers, massive wind-powered walking machines that players can use to traverse the world.
Poland is Bringing All the Big Guns at Gamescom 2019
The Polish Pavilion will feature many more exciting games but there’s one famous company from Poland that won't be there. We’re talking of course about CD Projekt Red. Don’t worry, though, because CDPR will definitely be at the event. It’s just that the studio behind The Witcher 3 will have its own booth.
CD Projekt Red announced last week that they are bringing the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 at Gamescom 2019. The company plans to showcase a new live gameplay demo at the event. In addition, CDPR is also hosting the first official Cyberpunk 2077 cosplay costume. The gameplay demo was already showcased behind closed doors earlier this year at E3. However, this will be the first time when the general public will also have a chance to see it.

If you’re going to Gamescom 2019 make sure to check out CDPR’s booth in Hall 6, Stand C049. While you’re there, don’t hesitate to drop by the Polish Pavilion Consumer Area located in Hall 10.1, booth E-050.
Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to launch on April 16th, 2020. As far as the other titles are concerned, Chernobylite and Children of Morta are set to arrive sometime this fall. Meanwhile, Last Oasis is already in Early Access on Steam and will officially launch on September 3rd.
