An Indie Game about Being Human – Out There: Oceans of Time
Your mission is to transport the universe’s greatest evil, the Archon. Archon is evil, terrible, and a being so hateful, the hate alone will destroy every living creature. However, being the lowly dumb human that you are, you let Archon escape by mistake. You had one job to do and you could not do it right. The massive expanse of the universe is your searching ground and you have put everything and everyone in existence at a threat from Archon.
You are not alone on this deadly quest. You do have a crew with you; to aid and assist you. However, is your crew really that helpful? Made up of losers, cowards, and misfits, your crew might be more of a burden you need to carry than a group of people who can really help you. Only time will tell if you are able to capture Archon again or will you be the reason for mass deaths and destruction and bringing misery to everyone.
Developed by Mi Clos Studio, Out There: Oceans of Time is actually a sequel to their previous game Out There. You can either play Out There first and then Out There: Oceans of Time or simply go straight to playing Out There: Oceans of Time. Out There: Oceans of Time takes you on a journey of vast exploration of a comic book like galaxy that will have elements of sci-fi adventures. It’ll take you on a journey of strategy and survival so that you can capture the alien menace who you so stupidly let escape from your clutches. Always stuck to a far away corner of the universe, you now have the chance of a lifetime to prove to everyone that you, humans, are not a distrusted minority; that putting you in charge of transporting the terrible being was not a mistake. It is a chance for you to prove that you are capable of responsibility and future such expeditions.
Out There: Oceans of Time takes you on a thrilling galactic quest
Capturing the Archon was not an easy task. Re-capturing the Archon would not be an easy task either. Out There: Oceans of Time is not a simple mission game where you find the evil alien quickly and spend a few minutes to capture it back. Re-capturing the Archon will take a lot of strength, courage, exploration, and gusto. The game will take you on an adventure in your space ship where you meet loads of strange aliens. In an attempt to gain some information on the Archon and maybe get these strange aliens to help you out, you learn their language and their ways.
Along with your crew and officers, you recruit new members to your crew, get aliens to form a coalition with you so that they can assist you in your quest, and commandeer new and advanced ships as and when one comes your way. You need to probe every ancient city on every derelict planet to make sure you do not leave a single corner of the universe where you did not look for the Archon. Any corner missed will increase your chances of never being able to capture the terrible monster ever again.
Do you have it in you to prove your worth? Would you be able to manage resources well and keep your crew alive? Will you be able to make good trades with strange yet good aliens so that you have every weapon in your arsenal to recapture the beast? Your redemption is waiting for you and for once in your life you need to step up and do everything you can to prove your worthiness. Out There: Oceans of Time will teach you how to be a human in a way you have never seen before.
