Introducing A New Bundle: ‘Indie Underdog Pack’

We bring you news of a new bundle! The Indie Underdog Pack (IUP), as you might suspect, has been constructed by a bunch of indie game developers and exists entirely in the service of indie development.

The pack or bundle, whichever you prefer, aims to provide a resource from which indie developers can distribute their games in order to gain funding for their next project. This first IUP campaign is a collaborative effort from a group of six developers, trying to raise funds for their current projects, as well as growing the IUP infrastructure.

The bundle will be hosted over on 8-Bit Funding some time next week and will come with an exciting list of rewards for those who put their cash forward. The first of which will be 6 previous games from the developers and will cost $5. Here’s a list of the games available at that funding tier:

This is literally the tip of the iceberg in regards to the Indie Underdog Pack though, there are a bunch other rewards piled on to this the further up you go – posters, alpha and beta access to unreleased games and even a say in what games go in the next bundle. The tier of funding which provides the best value for money though is at $25, which doubles the amount of games you get with the bundle.

Basically, the games that the money will be going towards will be yours as well for that price. There will be 6 games that you can grab at $25, with one of them remaining as a mystery, even to us!

So there you have it – the Indie Underdog Pack. We’ll update you as soon as it goes live on 8-Bit Funding, in the meantime, feel free to have a look over the official website (some of it is placeholder stuff still for now though).
