Haunting Bliss: ‘Dear Esther’ Soundtrack Released

One of the most distinctive aspects of Dear Esther was its soundtrack by Jessica Curry which has now just been released for your purchasing pleasures, all 17 tracks.

Undoubtedly one of the artiest of games, Dear Esther was released earlier this year as a new package so players could experience the game in a more realized manner. It featured some stunning environments, a haunting soundtrack and a slow pace to deliver a story in a way that hasn’t really been tried in a game before.

As you might hope as they are proving popular at the moment, the soundtrack from Dear Esther has now been released on Bandcamp where you can listen to previews of all 17 songs or purchase the whole lot for £4.99.

Listening back through those string pieces certainly strikes back a few memories of that odd island, definitely a must-buy for fans of the game and those who enjoy game soundtracks – it’s pretty powerful stuff just by itself.

You can purchase Dear Esther on Steam or you can download the original mod for free right here.

More information on Dear Esther is available on the game’s official website.
