This ‘Gateways’ Playthrough Will Make Your Brain Sick

Smudged Cat Games has released a new gameplay video for Gateways – the game many of you will know as the Portal 2D clone, except it’s not is it and you’re just being foolish. Time for your comeuppance.

Oh you’ve played Portal 2D before, have you? Oh that’s nice, so you won’t be even the slightest bit surprised or confused by Gateways. No, not at all – you’re hard as nails. I’ll hold you to that.

Right, so, Gateways. If you didn’t catch our previous post, then all you need to know is that the game initially seems like a sidescrolling Portal – you shoot ‘gateways’, go through them and it all looks very weird.

There are, however, a number of different gateways. Oh yes, if you thought that simply travelling from one to the other was enough brain-pukery for today then you are in for a rough ride. Let’s have a look, shall we?

I want to cry. Seriously! What just happened? Mom? Dad? Elmo? He went in and then were like four of him…in different time zones. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!
