Grutte Expectations: ‘Cross Of The Dutchman’ Seeks Funding

Grutte Pier’s might hasn’t been quite enough to finish the game based around his legend, so Triangle Studios have ignited a Kickstarter project for their third person action title, Cross of the Dutchman.

We’ve been following the development of Cross of the Dutchman since about the time we conducted an interview with Triangle Studios last year. Since then the game has come leaps and bounds and really impressing a lot of people with its teaser trailer.

Teasing isn’t enough (or at least it shouldn’t be) if you want to entice people to fund the project though, so Triangle have released some in-game snippets which you can see by following this link. The $50,000 of funding, if successful, will go towards new games modes, voice overs and other additional niceties, as well as a novel based on the game’s historical backdrop, attending tradeshows and more localisations.

All worthy of funding and if you do so you can get your hands on a copy of the game, a copy of the novel and if you up the money so much you can also get a shirt, the soundtrack and even a trip to the development studios. So, if you’re up for it, hand your dosh over on the Kickstarter page folks.
