The Nominees For The Independent Games Festival 2013 Are…
The official list of nominees for the 15th Annual Independent Games Festival have been announced, with plenty of familiar and deserving names making the cut.
The likes of FTL: Faster Than Light, Hotline Miami, Cart Life and Little Inferno are up for multiple awards, split across technical achievements in art, design and audio among the prizes on offer. Over 500 games were submitted for consideration before being narrowed down to the final list, with notable honourable mentions for each prize including Dust: An Elysian Tale and Fly’n among others. Such is the difficult task of choosing nominations these days that such wonderful games couldn’t make the list, which just goes to prove how high the quality level has become.
The biggest prize on offer, the Seumas McNally Grand Prize, features five of the greatest titles of the year vying for the $30,000 award. You can read the full list of nominees below:
