Storium – A Revolution In Story Crafting

Now on Kickstarter, Storium is a revolutionary new online storytelling game that allows three players to work together to create any story imaginable. It’s a powerful and versatile story crafting tool where one player acts as the Narrator and other two players assume their roles as characters, all working together to create unique stories crafted scene by scene.

A little like a D&D Dungeon Master, the Narrator chooses the world that the story is set in (with choices such as ‘occult pulp horror’, ‘medical drama’ and ‘cyberpunk’), then starts each scene, using cards to give the players challenges to overcome. The players then attempt to overcome these challenges as they see fit, by playing their own cards and writing the outcome, progressing the story  in fun and interesting ways.

You can create any number of interesting stories, and with players reacting to each others writing, it makes for a fun and fluid way of storytelling. Whether you’re captaining a space ship in an epic space adventure, plotting a tense courtroom drama, or weaving horrific a tale of vampire badgers, Storium works wonderfully.
