War of the Human Tanks Releases On Steam

After a successful Greenlight campaign, independent game localization company Fruitbat Factory has released War of the Human Tanks on Steam. The strategy/adventure game was developed by Japanese team Yakiniku Banzai! and is the first installment in a story-driven series collectively known as Human Tanks, Charge! In celebration of the successful Steam launch, Fruitbat Factory is currently holding a contest allowing players to design their own custom map for inclusion into the Steam version of the game. “We had a lot of fun playing and working on this game and even more on designing our own challenging maps, which you can find as bonuses at the end of Free Battle mode,”  Graphics and Marketing Lead Ozhan Sen stated. “With this contest we wanted to share this experience with our fellow fans of the Human Tanks, Charge! series.”

Originally released worldwide on September 14, 2012, War of the Human Tanks comes to Steam boasting a variety of platform-specific features such as: Steam Cloud compatibility, Steam Trading Cards, and over 50 Steam Achievements to unlock. The game itself includes over 30 maps, customizable tanks, and multiple endings based on player performance. War of the Human Tanks is available for PC and can be purchased for $9.99, with a standalone soundtrack featuring over 90 tracks also available for $9.99.
