Grip Games has announced their frenzied bullet-hell game Tower of Guns will be released sometime this Spring, via both digital and physical channels thanks to a partnership with SODESCO, a multiplatform developer, publisher, and distributor of interactive entertainment.
The game will be available at physical “brick and mortar” retail stores for PS3, PS4, and PC, while digital copies will be available for PS3, PS4, and Xbox One (PC is already up for sale on Steam) consoles.
When questioned, Marketing Manager Imre Schouten of SOEDESCO said “Tower of Guns is an excellent shooter with old school leanings. That is one of the reasons why a retail release is such a logical fit.”
Tower of Guns is a first-person bullet-hell shooter that is unique in that it aims to turn everything up to 11/10 on the insanity scale, and combines elements from a wide variety of genres – randomly generated levels, bosses, power ups, centuple-jumping, and looting. It’s been described as a mash-up of The Binding of Isaac and Doom 2.

If you’d rather wait for a physical copy, however, have no fear: The retail release is imminent, so ready your guns and clear your schedule.
