Sploot is a game where players take control of a seagull; a seagull who has uncontrollable bowels. The goal of Sploot is to fly around a charming seaside town finding bread to eat in order to poop everywhere in an uncontrollable fashion. Buildings, cars, benches, people, anything and everything is fair game. However, the seagull is extremely fragile, so careful guiding of the winged terror is crucial to ensure its safety.
Sploot was built from the ground up with VR in mind, but the game can be played on a normal monitor. For Oculus controls, the player simply needs to turn their head in the direction they want to fly and the seagull will change course. For non VR, the game is played with a standard mouse and keyboard. Gaining speed is done by diving, and climbing allows the player to slow their speed.
The game is currently available for both Mac and Windows PC on a pay-what-you-want basis. Sploot was developed by the one man studio Renegade Interactive, aka Elijah O’Rear.
