Shadowrun: Dragonfall, one of the highest rated PC games of the year is now available for iPad and Android tablets. Developed by indie development studio Harebrained Schemes, the game allows players to dive into the cyberpunk-meets-magic world that fans of the original tabletop game will find familiar, and will intrigue any newcomers to the series.
Dragonfall features a redesigned interface and combat system to fit better with the tablet devices, as well as new team customization options and an extended soundtrack composed by Jon Everist. Harebrained Schemes’ co-founder Jordan Weisman said the game “brings a really deep story experience to the tablet that is hard to find in the mobile industry.”
Shadowrun: Dragonfall – Director’s Cut features a classic, story-driven RPG using a turn-based tactical combat system that requires careful choices that range from moving up to cover, charging into melee with an enemy, or throwing an area-attack such as a fireball in the middle of a group. The game offers over 20 hours of immersive gameplay, not including the ability to customize the combat team with distinct skills and abilities. Characters aren’t limited in how they progress with each level up, giving a players a wealth of options.
Shadowrun: Dragonfall – Director’s Cut is currently available on the App Store and Google Play for $6.99. Gamers can learn more by following the game Facebook or Twitter, or by checking out the Steam Store page.
