Rock-themed Co-op Brawler Super Dungeon Bros Gets Retail Release

The developers from North American studio React Games are aiming to make a hard rock game, instead of a hardcore one. Their new game Super Dungeon Bros was originally announced in March 2015 as a rock-themed online co-op dungeon brawler for up to 4 players, as they take on the roles of heroes inspired by rock legends like Ozzy Osbourne and Axl Rose while beating dangerous enemies, solving crazy puzzles, and gathering tons of loot.

Super Dugeon Bros will also bring RPG elements into the world of Rökheim, where players will be able to use magic spells, craft items, and choose their own classes to play with. Similar to Broforce, the game promises a lot of bro-based taglines and abilities, like the Bro Nado and Bro Throw.

Wired Productions, the game’s publisher, recently announced a new partnership with Nordic games allowing for global retail distribution of the game. In a press release, Managing Director of Wired Productions Leo Zullo said, “Throughout development we’ve been delighted with the reception of Super Dungeon Bros, and we’re excited to announce this partnership with Nordic Games to bring the title to as many players as possible, worldwide. Nordic Games has always been a long-term partner, and we’re pleased with the continuation of our relationship.”

The game’s release date is set for sometime this Winter 2015 on Xbox One, PS4, Windows 10, and Mac. The online mode will allow players with Xbox One and PS4 versions to play with Steam owners , but not across consoles (so no Xbox One/PS4 cross-play). For further information about the game’s pricing and retail release, follow Super Dungeon Bros on Twitter and Facebook.

A huge fan of every kind of puzzle game, from minimalistic to the big productions. I like to discover how indie developers mess with the players' minds. I also talk about indie games in Brazil, as the editor-in-chief of Sem Tilt website.
