The developers at Projectile Games are conducting a speed run challenge for their new and very difficult 3D physics-based platformer, Momentum.
Momentum is most easily described as Marble Madness for the modern age. Above a sprawling lively city, you control three-dimensional twisty-turny labyrinths, that you must guide a fragile ball through. The game is visually striking in comparison to it’s simple premise, and has audio design that gives a good sense of believable weight to the ball and world.
To compete in the contest, you must first download the demo here. Contestants must submit the video via Youtube by November 23rd 11:59PM MTN. The contestant will need to either tweet their video to the official Momentum Twitter, or post on Momentum’s Facebook page.
Those with the fastest times will win a copy of Momentum (once it’s been Greenlit on Steam) and a copy of the Humble Jumbo Bundle 3, featuring some big games like Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure, Grid 2, and Saints Row IV.
Projectile Entertainment is currently seeking funding for Momentum on Kickstarter. A pledge of $10 will get you a digital copy of the game upon its release. It will be available for PC, Mac, and Linux
