Popup Dungeon Kickstarter Reaches Goal

Triple.B.Titles’ Kickstarter project, Popup Dungeon, has reached its goal of $80k, with an additional four days left in the campaign to earn additional funding.

To celebrate the campaign’s final week, Triple.B.Titles released images and footage of the game’s new tile set, the Haunted House. The recently revealed set will include new music by Gabriel Lefkowitz, the very talented man behind the Popup Dungeon soundtrack, and will be packed with its own set of unique enemies that have yet to be revealed. More details and props will also be coming to the Haunted House set as well, and those backers who are at “Juror” level will be able to vote on future tile sets.

It is exciting to see the success of this prestigious Kickstarter campaign that will turn roguelikes on their heads. From its gorgeous paper-craft visuals, the blending of tabletop and video game elements, and the insane level of customization that will be presented to players, RPG fans have a lot to be excited about when it comes to Popup Dungeon.

Over the final few days, the team will call upon additional support to try and reach predetermined stretch goals. The first two will expand the game’s content with a bonus tile set before creating a Wii U version, at $90k and $100k respectively.
