Official Indie Game Magazine WATHTA Shirts Now On Sale!

Remember back when we held that contest to find the best “Women are too hard to animate” tee shirt? Well, we selected a winner from a number of really thoughtful designs, and starting right now, the official Indie Game Magazine WATHTA shirts are on sale! Head on over to our Teespring campaign to pick up a tee shirt for just $14.99, or a long-sleeve shirt for $17.99. The design comes courtesy of Ben Burns, and we think it’s an absolutely brilliant idea! Check out the original concept below, and buy one for you and your friends here:

tsd08_women (1)Who says women are too hard to animate? Courtesy of a wonderful art submission by IGM reader Ben Burns, not only can we poke a bit of fun at this now-infamous remark, we can simultaneously celebrate a handful of games that feature amazing, compelling, and strong female characters. Can you name them all?

Our goal is 25 shirts, and we think $14.99 is a pretty fair price. We worked really hard to balance premium quality materials with an affordable price tag. If this first campaign proves a success, we’d love to make community Teespring campaigns a regular feature on IGM. In fact, should this campaign be funded, our next idea is for an Indie-centric, Back-to-School theme. Be sure to send your ideas/graphics to, Subject Line: “Teespring Idea.”
