Indie Intermission – ‘Headless Zombie’ Where’s You Head At

Headless Zombie ss01

It seems like only yesterday it was Halloween… actually… to round of the spooky Halloween orientated week I bring you a much more light-hearted approach to the holiday in Headless Zombie from MeowBeast.

Headless Zombie has a fantastic art-style and a great sense of humour that begins from the opening cut scene and continues throughout as you must solve these puzzles using your head, literally.

That’s right you play as Carl who is able to remove his head at will and using this ability he is able to overcome all manner of obstacles using his head. The platforming style is great and offers suitable difficultly that is not too frustrating but hard enough to make the game feel satisfying and for me this is how it should be.

Average play time – 35 minutes

Headless Zombie is a fun platformer that implements some great ideas and use of physic based puzzles to help create a great little platformer that stands out from the crowd.

The art style and music help make Headless Zombie a stand out game for this Halloween creating a great experience from the get go.

Raised on C&C, Theme Hospital, and Dungeon Keeper it was inevitable I would become a strategy nerd... and Sci-Fi (I love Sci-Fi). Board gaming is my second love (after video games of course). Find me on Twitter @alexwilkinson
