Indie Intermission – ‘Gods Will Be Watching’ Under Pressure

I did say last week I would be trying to move away from the Ludum Dare games, however after looking over a few games I came across this fascinating survival sim that will test your reasoning skills.

Gods Will Be Watching is a great little survival sim from the highly talented Deconstructeam. I have featured the team here before for one of their other Ludum Dare titles, Ages Of Irving which was a dark and sinister torture simulator.

Gods Will Be Watching puts you in controls the leader of a group of stranded survivors who must last 40 days in the wild on this strange planet. Gods Will Be Watching is a game were things go from bad to worse as you struggle with managing your group and keeping them alive, whilst trying to repair the radio to be rescued.

Although a rather simplistic game every action has a consequence and you will be hard pushed to overcome all of the challenges put in front of you as you try with all your might just to hold on for rescue.

Average play time – 20 minutes

Gods Will Be Watching is a truly great game that forces you to make the hard choices in order to do what is best for the group. The game starts off at a rather rapid pace, after only a few days you start to see the cracks in your group begin to show.

If you are a fan of puzzle games I’m sure you will get a great deal of enjoyment out of this quirky title. Play Gods Will Be Watching online now. If you would like to find out more about Deconstructeam head to their site.
