Indie Intermission – ‘Burrito Bison’ A Hop, Skip, And A Gummy Bear

Burrito Bison ss01

Today’s game is a fun little game that comes from the very talented Juicy Beast studio, which I have covered previously with their awesome Knightmare Tower a little while ago.

This time the game I will be looking at from Juicy Beast is Burrito Bison. In Burrito Bison you take control of a bison who has been captured and forced to fly out of a ring for peoples amusement.

In Burrito Bison you must try and catapult out of the ring at maximum velocity to then land on as many giant gummy bears as you can to keep up your speed.

Burrito Bison reminds me of a lot of the old flash games I use to play back in high school but with a great power up system along with some really nice artwork.

Average play time – 10 minutes

Burrito Bison is a very fun little game that offers a good amount of humour and relief from work. The upgrade system forces you to keep playing and it works very well making for a very fun game that you will struggle to put down.

Burrito Bison can be played online on Kongregate now. If you would like to find out more about Juicy Beast be sure to check out their official site.

If you are a developer with A fun indie game that can be played over a coffee break, we want to hear from you! Private message us on twitter @IndieGameMag or shoot us an email at with the subject “Indie Intermission” and you could be our indie intermission pick of the day!

Raised on C&C, Theme Hospital, and Dungeon Keeper it was inevitable I would become a strategy nerd... and Sci-Fi (I love Sci-Fi). Board gaming is my second love (after video games of course). Find me on Twitter @alexwilkinson
