IGM Freebies Giveaway! (February 7, 2014)

UPDATE [8:00pm EST]: It would seem the iOS codes for today’s giveaway have expired, so we’ll have to cut the contest short tonight. Our apologies. Eligible answers up to this point will be honored as soon as we find replacement iOS codes for either this game, or another from a fellow developer willing to help out. Again, sorry about this folks!

UPDATE #2 [Feb. 8, 8:00am EST] We’ve got a fresh batch of codes courtesy of Ugly Robot, so the contest may resume as normal. Apologies for the delay!

Welcome back everyone, to another edition of IGM Freebies. If you’re new to the giveaway and haven’t seen the Rules of Entry previously posted across our social media channels, they can be found here. This week, we’re mixing up the question format a bit to give more people a chance to participate. Also, that whole “everyone just copy and paste what the first guy wrote” isn’t the greatest way to run a contest; so we wanted to come up with a way to get you guys thinking, while also accommodating the bigger crowd now that all our social media networks are invited to the giveaway party. The new format is as follows:

We will ask four Trivia Questions every week, but each participant must choose and answer only one. The first five participants from each question category who answer correctly will win. So if five people have already answered one of the questions, don’t despair, just choose a different question to participate. Questions can be answered out of order, so strategize and pick whichever one you like. (Remember to add #IGMFreebies to your response.)

This week, we’re giving out 20 iOS codes for Pocket Moto X, courtesy of Mark Kevern from Ugly Robot. After the contest, be sure to check out our review of the game over on our sister site, IGM Mobile.

Without further ado, let’s get this giveaway rolling (giving?). Here are this week’s IGM Freebies Trivia Questions (Remember to only answer one):

1) What are two of StreamTeam member Parlock‘s favorite games?

2) Where was the Global Game Jam ’14 game I Am A Brave Knight developed?

3) Which member of the Roman Empire was tasked with defeating the Gauls?

4) What are Nub‘s “adorable little green allies” called?

Good luck to all our participants! Winners will receive a direct message from us shortly with a download code for this week’s giveaway. Thanks for playing! Tune in next week for another round of IGM Freebies. Same bat-time (roughly!), Same bat-channel (definitely!).
