When the powers of hell invade earth, angels descend from heaven to protect the human race; but a traitor locks the heavenly gates, and the war is lost. Angel Stone sees humanity battle against hellish powers, using abilities gained from fallen angels to become the Resistance, mankind’s last hope. The game comes from South Korea-based Fincon, founded in 2012 by Chung-Gil Yu and staffed by developers with extensive MMORPG experience.
Gameplay features extensive customization of a chosen hero format: Beserker, Gunslinger, or Shadow Mage. The hero then enters into arena-style battles against demons, fighting alongside other heroes. Since releasing three months ago, the game has been downloaded 6.5 million times, became an iOS Editor’s Choice game, and is one of the top five downloaded RPGs across 70 countries.
Update 2.0 has just been released with two new PvP modes, Team Deathmatch and Coliseum. From one-on-one duels to brawls involving a dozen players, the update introduces a more competitive battle system. Matches can be entered alone or with friends, and ranked battles can be played by risking stamina to earn greater rewards. The update has also introduced a new Artifact System and Guild Buffs to allow even more detailed customization and optimization of characters.
Angel Stone is available on iOS, Android, or through Facebook with Unity Web Player. For more information check out the game website, Facebook, or Twitter. Take a look at the developer’s website here.
