Fight for Liberté, Égalité, Squireleté in Acorn Assault: Rodent Revolution

Acorn Assault gameplay

There is a little-known fact about squirrel society: they are ruled by a cruel monarchy that oppresses the common squirrel. It’s true! In fact, years of being forced down by the upper-class is causing quite a stir in squirrel society, so much so that there are rumors of revolution. This is where High Tale Studios newest game Acorn Assault: Rodent Revolution takes its players.

In a slightly more serious tone, the game is about the French Revolution as told by squirrels. In a slightly less serious tone, a few of them are wearing powdered wigs. The game is a 3D turn-based strategy with the intention of easy to learn but hard to master. Players will follow the story of Charles DeMontesquirrel, the leader of the revolution. As players progress through the game they’ll unlock new characters each with their own unique abilities. The game also features an online and local multiplayer so players can challenge their friends in the fight for liberté, égalité, squireleté.

Acorn Assault: Rodent Revolution is expected to be released on March 2 for Xbox One, Windows PC and Mac via Steam. To learn more about the game and the developer, High Tale Studios visit their website, “like” them on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter.

Evan would shun you and your children if they didn’t know who shot first in Episode 4. Lover of all things geek, he spends the day trying to figure out answers to questions like is Batman a worse mentor than Green Arrow? Or Did Spider-Man really make a deal with the Devil to make everyone forget his true identity or was that just a delusion brought upon by heat stroke? In his spare time, Evan enjoys a nice martini, a manhattan or a scotch along with a good game, whether it be a MOBA, RPG, Shooter or an RTS.
