Escape a Supposed Paradise in Lost Sea

When visiting a tropical paradise most would want to stay there forever. However, if that paradise is on an island with strange artifacts and dangerous creatures, one would probably want to escape. The issue, perhaps, might be that the island paradise just so happens to be located in the Bermuda Triangle. Enter Lost Sea, a 3D action strategy game set inside the world of a cartoon B-movie from developer eastasiasoft. Players take control of a traveler stranded after their plane crashes over the Atlantic Ocean.

The game features procedurally-generated islands, allowing for a unique exploration experience. These islands are inhabited by a wide range of dangerous creatures, all with their own behavior patterns. As the player progresses, they’ll learn new abilities and special moves. The player is not alone on these islands, and they will have the opportunity to recruit members to their crew. Each one of these recruits has their own individual traits. Protecting these crew members is important; if one of them dies, they’re lost forever. Not only will the player have to worry about creatures on the islands, they will also face powerful bosses who are hellbent on stopping them from escaping the Bermuda Triangle. The reason? Who knows – chalk it up to the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle.

Lost Sea is expected to release on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam Summer 2016. No pricing details have been released yet. Developer eastasiasoft will have a playable version of the game this December at PlayStation Experience in San Francisco, and at the HK Game Expo in late November.
