Tilt to Safety in Sky Pets – Now on Mobile

Plummeting pugs, careening cats, and all manner of other falling animals are the stars of Sky Pets, the new game by Subliminal Gaming. Created by a team of two developers, Sky Pets is an action game using the tilt feature in mobile devices for controlling movement to achieve a high score.

SP1When the Earth was ripped apart by falling stars, all manner of chaos occurred. It’s up to the pets to rescue the stars and restore Earth to its former glory. As pets fall, they must collect coins, grab diamonds, and avoid obstacles. Players tilt their phone or tablet to steer these animals around spiked and rotating platforms, and away from enemies such as wind-puffing clouds, angry suns, and fire-breathing dragons. As diamonds are collected in each level, the challenge increases. There are 36 levels to explore, spread among four worlds.

Pets can be designed in the Pet Maker to suit the player, whether based on a real animal, or based only on imagination. Guide them to safety, and then share videos with friends via Everplay integration. Players can also compete for the highest score using GameCenter.

Sky Pets was released on October 8 for both iOS and Android devices, at a price of $1.99 USD. For more information, follow the game on Twitter, or “like” them on Facebook.
