E3 2015: Blast ‘Em Bunnies Adds Xbox One Release to Launch Lineup

Sydney-based indie developer Nnooo is excited to announce Blast ‘Em Bunnies will be releasing on Xbox One come launch day, in addition to previously confirmed platforms, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo 3DS.

Blast ‘Em Bunnies is a fusion of cartoon designs and animations with dark humor and war. The game is a fixed FPS shooter that allows players to rotate on a 360 degree axis in order to fire on surrounding and approaching enemies. Players can get their hands on multiple different weapons, each more powerful than the last as they improve from a carrot rifle to a turnip mortar, and even a laser beam.

Each playthrough continues endlessly until the player falls, with an increase in difficulty the longer players survive, sending different varieties of enemies and in greater number. The evil bunnies attack however they can, such as by flying, digging through the earth, or simply charging through the field. There’s even a sick and twisted throat slitter bunny that appears from the earth holding one of the main character’s baby bunnies. It’s up to the player to shoot the bunny before the baby bunny meets a gruesome, and possibly graphic, fate.

The developers at Nnooo are participating at E3 to showcase Blast ‘Em Bunnies and provide even more information about the upcoming project. For more information, gamers are encouraged to follow the team’s development progress on Twitter and to like their page on Facebook.

I'm a big JRPG fan in general, but games with a good story and great characters are what drive me. It touches the writer in me.
