Indie game developer Red Dot Studios and game publisher PlayWay announced the forthcoming release of their game Car Mechanic Simulator 2015. The project, currently in Alpha, is a sequel to the popular 2014 edition and sports multiple improvements in both graphics and available features.
In Car Mechanic Simulator 2015, players take on the task of repairing cars for demanding clients as the shop mechanic. The game promises highly detailed and realistic simulations as the player uses earned funds from each repair to expand their business, buy junk cars and renovate them for sale, or buy special equipment for their business, such as a lacquer spray booth.
Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 sports numerous improvements from its predecessor with a longer list of cars, tools, and parts, as well as a variety of challenging car repair missions. Each mission offers a unique challenge, with a variety of time constraints and difficulties unique to the repair. The game also includes a photo-mode, allowing players to take before-and-after pictures of their many in-game projects.
Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 is currently in the last few days of it’s Kickstarter campaign, and is being developed for release on PC and Mac desktops. (The campaign is currently just over the halfway mark in terms of funding, having raised over $11k CAD of its $20k goal so far.)
