Average Giants Episode 62 – Super Pixalo & Planet Pitfall

IGM Presents… The Average Giants! A weekly webseries where we play indie games while chatting with their developers. Come watch (and “follow”) the show live on our hitbox channel every Monday night at 9:00pm EDT.

This week on Average Giants, we take a look at two super cute games, starting with Super Pixalo. A platforming Super Meat Boy-esque title where the main character travels through the decades, from the 70s to the present. The game is full of platforming fun, super tight controls, and some of the funniest era-appropriate pop culture references this side of Magicka. If platforming is your game, make sure to hit this title up on Steam now!

Our second title this week is an adorable couch co-op game about two astronauts trying to get rich. Planet Pitfall is an isometric cooperative puzzle game that focuses its gameplay on working with your partner to try and figure out how to get the most money out of each level.
