We covered Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim in it’s early stages of development back in 2013. After an entire Viking village of Borja vanishes, a young boy by the name of Tyrim sets out to search for them. It’s an undertaking that will send young Tyrim on a whirlwind adventure through the world of Nygard. Players will guide Tyrim through dark dungeons in search of artifacts, sneak through enemy fortresses, and take the fight to the forces of evil. Set sail on Tyrim’s ship, the Mad Goat, as he crosses the seas collecting relics, secrets, and magic to aid them in his quest.
Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim is an action RPG from developer Overflow Games. Players journey across eight different islands filled with unique enemies, physics-based puzzles, using vehicles like windsurfers, ships and more to navigate. The game features a crafting system for players to build their own weapons, armor, and gear, giving them and Tyrim an edge in combat. The world of Nygard is filled with some interesting characters which players will interact with along their journey.
Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim is expected to release on April 26 for PC, Mac, and Linux. The game will be regularly priced at $19.99 but by pre-ordering the game at GOG.com or at Pheonix Online Studios buyers get the game at a discounted price.
